RasCue (Rasta Cue Tip) aka EB.F. aka  Black Burgundy is a Senior Umpire as well as VP for Urban Umpires Inc, President of the non-profit foundation “Got Kidney”, 1/2 of underground Hip Hop sensation Various Blends (see Various Blends Bio), and DJ for the world renowned Cali Agents (Planet Asia and Rasco). He also hosted one of Urban Umpires 8 urban platform radio shows – Dancehall Riddims which reached over 3.5 million at it’s peak.

Having extensive roots and a positive reputation for creativity RasCue has become a highly desired and seasoned veteran of the San Francisco Bay Area club scene. Outside of his lyrical endeavors (reaching back to high school) he has been a club DJ since 1994 and regularly tours worldwide.  RasCue possesses skill – that is evident.

However skill without diversity is like salt alone. His style is unmatched because of skill mixed with access to virtually unlimited options due to his immense record collection, which counts into the thousands and is extremely eclectic in its diversity. Listeners to “The DownTempo Show” on Inthemixradio.com are treated to weekly doses of his rare assembly (contact Urban Umpires exclusively for archived episodes).

Voted Best All-Around DJ by San Francisco’s Clubby Awards in 2000, RasCue is known for his seamless blends, crisp cuts, emcee skills, and crowd rocking abilities. He has and continues to tour the world. Japan, Brazil, England, Portugal, Austria, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Scandinavia, the Caribbean, and a full European tour (w/ Cali Agents) are just a few of the countries in his repertoire. Some of RasCue;s prominent clients include Conde Nast, People Magazine, Grey Goose Vodka, Red Bull and has provided his services to a few celebrities such as William H. Macy, Hugh Jackman and Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

In a never ending pursuit of engagement and meshing of creative process RasCue has collaborated with countless artists and DJ’s.  Among those are The Killers, Rasco, Planet Asia, Mos Def, Hieroglyphics, Ghostface Killah, Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf, J-Rocc, Cut Chemist, DJ Shadow, Nu-Mark, Z-Trip, DJ Pogo(England), DJ Tonk(Japan), DJ Craze, Miguel Migs, Jay-J Hernandez, DJ Spinna, Louie Vega, DJ Marky(Brazil), Q-Bert, and Mix Master Mike. He has also serves/ed as a resident DJ for the prominent Bay Area parties/venues: Redwood Room(Clift Hotel,SF), John Colins, Release, Remedy, Jazzid Up/Mushroom Jazz, United Souls, Square/Ruby Sky, and Something Special.
